Printed by Buch- und Kunstdruckerei J. Wiesike, Brandenburg (Havel) / Berlin. Large 8vo (28.2 x 22.7 cm). Sturm-signet on the half-title as a scaled-down reproduction of a linocut by László Peri (Söhn 55002). Glued-in frontispiece portrait by Heemskerck. 20 p., 21 plates with 7 full-page original woodcuts and illustrations of Heemskerck's paintings and drawings. 2 p. list of exhibitions (Heemskerck) and imprint. Illustrated original half cloth binding. The book contains the following woodcuts: Wald, Baum I, Segel, Stilleben, Baum II, Waldweg, Mühle. Reference: Jentsch 148. Provenance: With the bookplate of Henk Baard (Dutch art historian. Head of the art collection of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam from 1939 and director of the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem from 1946 to 1972.)

The artist Jacoba van Heemskerck did not live to see the last "Sturm-Bilderbuch" published by Herwarth Walden and dedicated to her. She had already died in August 1923. Herwarth Walden's obituary for the artist can be found on page 5 of this book.
