Original LIMITED EDITION : E. Degas Monotypes - Texte De Denis Rouart. Published by Quatre Chemins - Editart, Paris, 1948
An Edgar Degas (1834-1917) collection of 40 monotype color etching prints from the Monotypes portfolio by Denis Rouart and printed on Marais Paper printed in 1948. There was 1,000 made and this is edition #848. Of these 500 were for the France market and 500 to be distributed in the U.S. market. 7 Text pages in French followed by 40 full-page plates with blank reverses. 10 in color and 30 in double-tone, in loose sheets.
Overall 12 1/4" x 9".
