Text by the renowned critic and friend of the artist, Maurice Raynal, accompanied by a rich selection of colour plates reproducing Picasso’s major works from the Blue and Rose periods to Cubism and beyond.
The book features numerous high-quality colour heliogravure illustrations printed at L’Atelier d’Impression en Couleurs, Lausanne, with plates prepared by Guezelle et Renouard in Paris.
Bound in publisher’s original cream cloth with illustrated dust jacket showing Harlequin and Boy, preserved in its original plain slipcase.
