It's more likely that the tirage is about copies on different papers (laid paper, blue laid paper, China & vellum) with different limitations. For example, copies on vellum from the collection of HM Petiet were limited to 25 copies and it seems that Daniel Marchesseau saw copies limited to 15 copies when writing the catalog raisonne.
