Original Salvador Dali etching "Urania" from Suite Les Muses (1971)
Hand-signed by Dali in pencil, hand-colored with watercolor and golden highlights.
Condition Note & Pricing: This particular print is laid down (backed) on cardboard, features traces of previous matting along the edges, and has a minor crease on the left side of the cardboard (which will be naturally minimized once framed under glass). The paper also shows authentic, sun-induced toning.
Reflecting these minor archival nuances, this piece is offered as-is at a significant collectible discount. Additional photos and videos are gladly provided upon request.
Note: We also have a second copy of this engraving available at full price, which is free from cardboard mounting:

Salvador Dalí created the suite of Les Muses while creating works for two of his patrons, Giuseppe and Mara Albaretto. The artworks are beautifully inspired by Greek mythology.
Urania is the Muse of Astronomy and is associated with navigation. She is elegant portrayed with stars, the globe, and sometimes a compass.
One of the rarest and most beautiful engravings by Salvador Dali.
A remarkable and sophisticated addition to any serious art collection.
