This is a very rare chance is purchase a Bass by the Master Georges Braque, from 1950. These hardly ever come up for Auction, especially in such a good condition. Bass is a Etching with full margins. Sheet measures 66.5 x 50.2 cm (26 1/8 x 19 3/4 in.) signed and H.C in pencil (there were 6 hors commerce impressions aside from the edition of 50) published by Maeght, Paris. There is some very slight fading, but this is completely concurrent with an Etching of this age. Stock is in a very good condition. No damage whatsoever & has obviously been kept immaculately.
